By Scott Harvey

Como – Como mayor James Carroll has rescinded his resignation. His letter of resignation was never accepted by the City Council so he will remain in office.

The news comes a day after two other city officials resigned from their posts, leaving four vacancies.

Kris Skidmore, who serves as city secretary, associate municipal judge and court clerk is leaving to spend more time with family. Water Commissioner Stephen Ray Smith said the position interferes with his regular job.
