Como-Pickton superintendent suspended

By Kevin Jefferies

Como-Pickton – The superintendent of Como-Pickton schools has been suspended with pay amid allegations of misuse of district funds and property, according to the Sulphur Springs News Telegram. The school board met in an emergency meeting Saturday after the wife of Superintendent Dr. Bryan Neal was found in the building late Friday night which occurred after a recent notification by law enforcement officers of serious financial issues that required securing district records.

Neal was asked to immediately hand in all district keys, property, and related items after the meeting. He will remain on suspension with pay pending investigation.
