Greenville – Construction along Interstate 30 near Greenville was expected to cause major delays this weekend but has now been moved to next weekend, Dec. 12 and 13.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) next weekend will begin placing concrete beams on the bridge over the eastbound and westbound main lanes at Business Highway 69. Its part of the overall project connected to the rebuilding the State Highway 34/Wesley Street overpass.
Placing the concrete bridge beams will require periodically stopping traffic on the main lanes while the beams are raised into place by crane.
Delays could last up to 30 mintues.
