The center will focus on assisting older adults cope with loss or return to normal living after serious illness. The average age of the patient is expected to be around 65, but the facility will be available to anyone 55 or older. Consultation and liaison services, aftercare services, structured group therapy, medication management, and individual and family therapy are also some services that may be offered to help meet the mental health needs of elderly patients in Commerce.
