The Cooper Clean-Up Crew is already planning for the next project. This Saturday, April 22 will be the date. Volunteers are urged to meet at 8 a.m. on the Square. It coordinates with the final day of the Clean Up Week for the City of Cooper.
Residents are to note no commercial trash, brush, tires or batteries will be accepted at the City’s dumpsite.
The Cooper Clean-Up Crew will be beginning clean up on the southwest section of Cooper. Many volunteers spent the weekend cleaning up the Square and along Farm-to-Market 1529.
The Cooper Clean-Up Crew can be found on Facebook. Organizer Carmen Chessher has just recent unveiled their new logo and slogan “Promoting Community Pride.” She hopes more volunteers will be present and help spread the pride.
