Commerce – The Commerce City Council Tuesday is expected to adopt a second reading amending the city's water and waste water rates, effective April 1.
The proposed increases are based on a recent survey that follows a ten year, staggered rate increase plan.
Also on the agenda is a briefing on city financial information that will explore debt restructuring and capital improvements plus consideration of a tourism and marketing partnership with A&M-Commerce regarding the purchase of a new scoreboard at Memorial Stadium.
Council is also scheduled to move forward with plans for improving City Park after receiving a $75,000 matching grant for the project last year.
Tuesday's meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at Commerce City Hall.
