Greenville – The Greenville City Council plans to hire Terracon Consultants, Inc to help oversee two EPA grants, which will determine what local sites may be contaminated.
Officials learned last September they had been approved for the $400,000 grant, which is the third such grant approved for the City since 2000.
The money pays for environmental assessment of properties which are either contaminated or suspected of contamination that are either underutilized or vacant.
