Council seeks improvements to city infrastructure
BONHAM - The Bonham City Council plans to use a financial advisor to help put together a bond to raise money for some city improvements.
They hope to update the city's central fire station, improve the civic center and renovate rest and camp sites at the Lake Bonham recreation area.
During a special meeting Wednesday, council members agreed to apply for the loan of up to $1 million on three separate projects. Revenue from the improved infrastructure is expected to help pay off the loan.
