TEXARKANA - An appeals court has dismissed a petition seeking to stop TransCanada’s pipeline from traveling through a Lamar County farm after the petition’s author failed to issue a case record.

The Paris News reports the appeals court earlier had reinstated a temporary injunction, reversing a Lamar County Court-at-Law decision to rescind the injunction it had ordered. The Crawford Family Partnership then sought a permanent injunction in the case, but the 6th Court of Appeals in Texarkana cited this week they had received no response from the family by the due date.

Julia Trigg Crawford tells the newspaper they’re “moving in a different direction.”
