Commerce – The 4th Annual Cowhill Chili Fest and BBQ Cook-Off begins this evening in downtown Commerce. The downtown square will be closed off beginning this afternoon with live entertainment starting at 5pm with performances from the Commerce Idol winners. A Jitterbug dance contest follows with Miles from Nowhere on stage with live music until Midnight.
Saturday, the music starts at 9:30 in the morning and continues all day. Bounce houses, a mechanical bull, and pony rides will be provided for the kids from noon to 4pm. And of course, all-you-can-eat chili and stew from 11am to 2pm.
