Commerce – The 2nd annual Cowhill Chili Fest kicks off tonight in downtown Commerce. Bobby Coffman's Underground Band and Ace High get things rolling Friday evening beginning at 5:30. Saturday's musical lineup has the Underground Band playing again to start the day off at 9:30, with the Mike Hays band, Miles From Nowhere, Backroads, and Fat Tuesday keeping things going throughout the day.
All-you-cab-eat chili from 11am to 2pm is $7, with barbecue available as well. Bounce houses, a horseshoe tournament, and a mechanical bull are some of the other activities planned for the day and the winner of the Chili Fest will be announced around 3pm Saturday.
