At least one person is dead following a fiery crash on State Highway 161 underneath Interstate 30 in Grand Prairie, according to nbcdfw.com.
Motorists from Dallas traveling west are advised to use Interstate 20 or State Highway 183 if headed toward the Mid-Cities.
A tractor-trailer truck drove off of a ramp and caught fire on Highway 161, according to Grand Prairie Police. Some of the wreckage still sits under I-30. One person died as a result of the crash.
The accident has backed up traffic along I-30 westbound and Highway 161 both northbound and southbound for miles.
