Crash victim showing great signs of recovery
Tyler – An East Texas Coach critically injured in a crash around last Thanksgiving is showing encouraging signs of progress, having walked for the first time since the accident.
Randy McFarlin is head football coach and athletic director at Whitehouse ISD. He's being treated at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
McFarlin formerly coached in Mt. Pleasant and Daingerfield, and his son, who was also injured in the accident, formerly coached at Sulphur Springs Middle School.
