Caddo Mills – A Caddo Mills home is destroyed in a late Sunday night fire.
The owner of the home along Private Road 2671 was able to escape unharmed, although two of his cats were killed.
Even at night, the hot conditions still played havoc for firefighters. One official was treated at the scene for heat exhaustion.
The cause of the blaze had not been determined as of late Monday.
