Have information on a crime or person with a warrant, but don’t want to give out personal information? Crime Stoppers tip line is the answer! The Lake Country Crime Stoppers serves Rains, Delta and Hopkins Counties. It provides an anonymous tip line, where callers can leave information on the crime or suspect without having to give personal information. Here is the bonus: if a tip leads to a felony arrest, Crime Stoppers will pay caller up to $1,000.

“Crime Stoppers is an excellent tool for law enforcement on criminal investigations,” said Sergeant Investigator Ryan Brown with the Delta County Sheriff’s office. He serves on the Lake Country Crime Stoppers Board.

If callers wish to give a tip with the intentions of receiving a reward, he or she must call the tip line before calling local law enforcement.

“If it is an immediate emergency or an in-progress offense, we would obviously prefer caller to dial 911 so that we can respond with law enforcement personnel expeditiously. However, if it is a crime that is not in-progress, in order to qualify to receive a reward, Crime Stoppers requires you to first call the tip line,” said Investigator Brown, noting the appropriate measures will be taken.

Lake Country Crime Stoppers can be reached at 903.885.2020.
