Greenville – A record bond in connection with a downtown Greenville shooting will remain in place for now.
Francisco Javier Davilla, of Mexico, was appointed an interpreter Thursday, but a judge took no action concerning his $6.5 million bond.
Davilla remains in custody on four counts of attempted capitol murder and one count of deadly conduct in connection with the July 10 incident.
A hearing to address a possible reduction in bond was reset for Wednesday.
