The survey concerning the USPS modification program was recently administered to those served by offices in low population density areas, including parts of Northeast Texas.
Customers are given four options, the first being to keep their office open, but with fewer retail hours. Other options include retail and delivery service through a rural carrier, a suitable alternative location operated by a contractor, or to relocate P.O. Box service to a nearby post office.
