Commerce – A political debate is scheduled today on the A&M-Commerce campus between State Representative Dan Flynn and challenger Scott Cornaud. The debate is scheduled for 1pm today in the Founder's Lounge of the Memorial Student Center on campus.
Dan Flynn is a Republican incumbent from Van and represents district 2, which includes Hunt, Rains, and Van Zandt Counties. Cornaud is the Democratic candidate and is a Hunt County lawyer that serves on the Quinlan ISD School Board.
The debate is sponsored by the Student Government Association of A&M-Commerce. Following opening statements, questions will be taken from the audience.
Early voting for the November 7th election begins next Wednesday.
