GREENVILLE – A native of Caddo Mills, Lt. Todd Krodle was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School and earned a degree from East Texas State University.
Services for Krodle will be conducted through Coker-Matthews Funeral Home in Greenville but were still pending as of this morning.
Authorities say Krodle, who'd been with the Dallas Fire Department since 1993, fell through the roof the apartment while working to contain the fire. He was pronounced dead at a Dallas hospital.
Investigators say no residents were hurt in the fire, which was blamed on an electrical malfunction in a first-floor unit of the two-story complex.
