Decision reversed for officer suspended without pay

By Scott Harvey

Paris – A two day suspension ordered against a Paris Police Officer for his actions in a November 2009 arrest has been reversed.

Jeremy Massey will be returned pay for the two day's he was suspended, following a decision by independent arbitrator Harold Moore.

Massey was suspended in connection with the arrest of Cornelius Gill after an internal review of the arrest found the Officer used unnecessary force.

City officials say they are disappointed in the order, but will comply with the decision.
