Dedistricting plans underway in Greenville

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – The City Council is working to determine whether the boarders of the city's six single member districts need to be redrawn.

On Tuesday, council hired a consultant to make sure the districts are in compliance with federal voting regulations, once the results of the 2010 Census are delivered next month.

There is a chance that redistricting may not even be needed.
