Hunt County – Weekend travelers beware; you may run into long delays along Interstate 30 near Greenville, as TxDot plans to begin placing concrete beams on the bridge over the eastbound and westbound main lanes at Business Highway 69.
Its part of the overall project connected to the rebuilding of the State Highway 34/Wesley Street overpass.
Placing the concrete bridge beams will require periodically stopping traffic on the main lanes while the beams are raised into place by crane.
Construction will take place during the day Saturday and Sunday and could cause delays of up to 30 minutes.
