Delta County Features Competitive Primary Elections; Skywarn Tonight

  Update (Tues. Feb. 20, 4:26 p.m.): Tuesday's Skywarn event in Cooper has been canceled. 

Cooper Review editor Cindy Roller says the primary election Tuesday, March 6 in Delta County features competitive races, including incumbent County Judge Jason Murray opposed by Treasurer Bonnie Hobbs, Pct. 2 Commissioner Gary Anderson opposed by county employee Jimmy Sweat, and Justice of the Peace Ginny Phifer opposed by former JP Chuck Reed.  The Skywarn event for storm spotter training is tonight (Feb. 20) from 7-9 at the Civic Center in downtown Cooper.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
