Documents to be released in response to AG letter

GREENVILLE - The Texas Attorney General’s office has determined that the City of Greenville must release three of the 570 documents requested by L-3 last year.

The disagreement between the two sides stems from the Public Information Act request by L-3 requesting all documents related to the City’s proposed replat of the Majors Field Municipal Airport.

According to a release by the City, the documents were being withheld to protect attorney-client privileges, but L-3 disagreed.

The ruling by Lance Kutnick with the Attorney General’s Office can be challenged in court. But City officials say they have decided to release the three documents to avoid further conflict. You can read their full release at http://tx-greenville.civicplus.com/DocumentView.aspx?DID=4000
