Greenville – A fatal accident last October leads to the indictment of a Hunt County woman, in connection to her daughter's death.
26-year-old Connie Scherie Dodd, of Wolfe City, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, for which she pleaded not guilty Wednesday. Dodd will be back in court next month.
Authorities alleged Dodd failed to properly restrain four-year-old Destiny Scherie Dodd in a passenger safety seat on Oct. 1, 2010, which resulted in her death when the vehicle Dodd was driving collided with a horse in the middle of a roadway.
