Commerce fire trucks will be rolling on all medical emergencies. Without further comment from the public Tuesday night, the City Council unaminously voted for sending paid firemen at the same time the Commerce Emergency Corps is summoned.
City Manager Bill Shipp also told the council he would meet with all local emergency officials later this month then every two months after that. The council also agreed to review the new policy in six months.
