Telephone – Details have emerged in a fatal motor vehicle crash in Fannin County that occurred over the weekend.
DPS has identified 26-year-old Daniel Wade, of Telephone, as the deceased individual. He was pronounced dead at the scene early Saturday morning on CR 2145 near his home town.
According to State Troopers, Wade was driving alone westbound when for unknown reasons; his tires went off the right side of the road. He then over-corrected, running off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
Authorities are also investigating whether Wade may have been injured during an incident at a nearby residence before the accident occurred, but few details into that reason were given.
An autopsy report by the Collin County Medical Examiner's Office is pending.
