Paris – Emergency crews responded to the scene Saturday at around 12:30 p.m. along Southeast 40th street.
Upon arrival, CPR was being administered to the boy who had been found in an inflated swimming pool.
The child was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
No other information was immediately provided. The incident is under investigation.
