Greenville – Three people are arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop along Interstate 30 in Greenville.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. Sunday near mile marker 93. Officer Robert Pemberton with the Greenville Police Department conducted a search of the vehicle after the driver and two passengers gave conflicting accounts of their travel plans.
After given consent to search, Pemberton located 13 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle's trunk space where the spare tire was missing.
Taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana were 28-year-old Raheem Richburg, 35-year-old Kyle Jones and 22-year-old Dwayne Wilson.
