Drug bust made following stop along I-30

Greenville – A routine traffic stop over the weekend leads to the arrest of two people in Greenville.

Officer Robert Pemberton made the stop at the 94 mile maker along Interstate 30, during which criminal activity was suspected and consent to search the vehicle was given.

Pemberton, along with K-9 Ceiko, would find over seven pounds of marijuana was located inside the trunk of the vehicle.

The two suspects, who listed an address in Arkansas, were placed under arrest and transported to the Hunt County Jail pending arraignment on a third degree felony.
