Greenville – A guilty plea is expected from a suspect alleged to have transported a large amount of drugs through Hunt County this summer.
Rodolfo Olives Hernandez is also facing a date with officials with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
Hernandez is charged with possession of between 50 and 2,000 pounds of marijuana. A Wednesday hearing is scheduled in the case.
Hernandez, along with Jorge Martinez, were arrested following a traffic stop along Interstate 30. The office conducted a search of the vehicle and found the drugs after becoming suspicious of the two men, who gave conflicting accounts about where they were going and why.
