Those looking to cast your vote early for the May 9 municipal and school elections can do so beginning Monday.
Early voting runs Monday, April 27 through May 5 at all area voting locations. Some polling places will also hold extended voting hours on certain days.
Some local elections have been cancelled and unopposed candidates declared winners, but several opposed races still remain.
Both the Commerce School Board and City Council races have at least two candidates vying for each position. There is only one race taking place for the Greenville City Council. Other area ISD's choosing new board members next month are Caddo Mills, Campbell, Lone Oak, Quinlan and Wolfe City.
Bond items for construction projects will appear on ballots for the Sulphur Springs and North Lamar ISDs, and the cities of Paris and Reno are considering the sale of beer and wine at local stores for off premise consumption.
