Early voting is moving at a snappy pace in Northeast Texas. Hunt and Lamar counties, first-day totals are even besting first-day turnout from the 2016 presidential election.
The Herald-Banner also reports record numbers in Hunt County. Monday’s 2,000 voters tops first-day totals from 2016 and the county’s previous record holder, 2012.
