Earlyvoting starts next week; poilitical forums planned

Northeast Texas – Early voting for the November 7th general election begins next week, and several debates and political forums are scheduled in the coming days. The Greenville Herald Banner will be hosting a candidate's forum tomorrow evening from 6pm to 9pm in the old Greenville Post Office. Invited are candidates running for Congress, State Senate and House, Hunt County Court-at-Law, County Commissioner Precinct 2 and 4, and Justice of the Peace.

A debate between District 2 State Representative Dan Flynn and challenger Scott Cornuaud is scheduled for Wednesday at 1pm in the Founder's Lounge of the MSC on the A&M-Commerce campus.

The south Hunt County Meet the Republican Candidates event is set for October 28th at 8am at the First United Methodist Church in Quinlan.

The A&M-Commerce Radio/Television Department will host a Candidate's Forum the evening of November 2nd to be simulcast on Cable Channel 3 in Commerce and heard here on KETR.
