Hopkins County – The elderly Hopkins County woman reported missing Tuesday night was found Wednesday morning after a 13 hour ordeal.
85-year-old Lola Pearl Andre had last been seen around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday walking along CR 1197 near Arbala.
Andre is said to suffer from dementia.
Throughout the night, first responders from the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office, DPS, Sulphur Springs PD, Hopkins County and Volunteer Fire Departments and the Red Cross searched diligently for Andre. Authorities eventually managed to make contact with her by cell phone, and she was located by a civilian volunteer.
Her dog, which had kept her company and protected her through the night was also said to be doing fine.
