Hopkins County – A 92-year-old Hopkins County man who had gone missing is found, thanks to the efforts of five local individuals.
Dalton Froneberger reportedly walked off from his son's tire shop Saturday morning. County officials used a helicopter in an attempt to locate the man, and community members provided assistance on the ground.
A man and four boys would eventually find Froneberger nearly eight hours later in a tall grass field about 150 yards from the tire shop off State Highway 19. The man had apparently fallen down and was unable to get back up.
Froneberger was treated for dehydration and checked out for other injuries, but was expected to be OK.
