Commerce – Filing for City Elections has begun in Commerce. Filing will continue until March 14th at Commerce City Hall. Commerce City Manager Bill Shipp.
SHIPP:We are going to hold a joint election this year. And the early voting for both elections will be in City Hall. Voting on election day will also be in City Hall.
Places 1 and 3 are up on the Commerce City Council. They are currently held by Hector Arce and Penny Belcher.
For Commerce School Board, Places 1, 2, and 3 are up for election, currently held by Bob McLeroy, Donna Tavener, and Russell Armstrong.
Application packages for City Council are available at City Hall, and packets for school board are available at the district's Administration Office.
