Exciting times in astronomy

Texas A&M University-Commerce associate professor of astronomy and the director of the University Planetarium, Dr. Kent Montgomery, discusses the construction of several gigantic telescopes that will revolutionize astronomy, and and also proposals for high-altitude aircraft that would rival the Hubble Space Telescope in the images they produce.  Kent also discusses the "Exploding Universe" program at the Planetarium that begins Friday, September 19.
