“It's huge for the community and is also great for The Bookworm Box,” added Hoover on James, her friend of three years. The Bookworm Box opened last weekend on Main Street downtown Sulphur Springs. “We've raised over $100,000 for charity since launching our online sales in March.”

Hoover has published 11 books since her writing career began almost four years ago and all are New York Times bestsellers. This one-of-a-kind store, The Bookworm Box, is her way to give back on a larger scale.

How does the store work?

“Readers order a box and receive two signed novels and book swag in the mail each month,” explained Hoover on the charity. “I didn't think it would take off like it did, but we sold out in four minutes the first two months.” Plus her employees work on a volunteer basis.

Hoover anticipates a large crowd for the following this trilogy has had.

The event begins at 11 a.m. for ticket holders (the book is for mature audiences) and on a first come, first served signing. Photos will be allowed but not posed. Ticket holders need to be preparing to be waiting outside for admission. Neighboring Main Street establishment IdziBitsy Bakery will be providing cake.
