Fair Time in Hunt County

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday at the main entrance to the Fairgrounds. The gates and exhibit buildings are scheduled to open immediately afterward and the evening will also include the Junior Livestock Queen and Princess competition, the first night of the Lone Star Garden Tractor Pull and a performance by "Sabine".

This year's Fair will again feature popular events including the Twins Contest and live entertainment nightly on the main stage. Talley Amusements will once again be providing the midway rides, which will include a Century Gondola Ferris Wheel.

The Fair will also include displays in the creative arts, general exhibits and law enforcement buildings, as well as the Heritage Expo, a pet show, and more. The Fair culminates with the Hunt County Junior Livestock Auction.
