Hemingway, Welty Homes Preserved In Cuba, Mississippi

American writers Ernest Hemingway and Eudora Welty never met one another, however the two shared many things in common, as Mary Clark discovered during visits to each of their homes.

The writer's getaway homes are separated by many miles - Hemingway escaped to his place in Havana, Cuba during the winters, whereas Welty preferred the comfort of her home Jackson, Mississippi. But the two writers shared a love for large book collections, a list of literary friends, and an the occasional libation.
