BONHAM - For the second time in as many weeks, Fannin County Commissioners will consider lifting their burn ban during a meeting Monday.
The county is now only a few remaining in the area still under the restriction, after nearly a dozen local county commissioners’ groups agreed that drought conditions had improved enough to lift the ban. Residents in unincorporated areas of the region who plan to burn are still urged to use extreme caution when doing so.
Monday’s meeting begins at 10 a.m. in the Fannin County Courthouse in Bonham.
