Fannin County hires tax assessor-collector

Fannin County – Fannin County has selected a new tax assessor-collector. Ronnie Rhudy will replace Pamela Sweet Richardson, who recently resigned from the position.

Rhudy has worked for the county for more than 30 years, most recently as a gravel truck driver.

Sweet-Richardson was arrested for driving while intoxicated in March, and eventually resigned for personal reasons.
