Farquhar gets 12 years for March robbery

Greenville – A Greenville man has been sentenced to prison for the second time this year after pleading guilty to two counts of robbery.

36-year-old Ronald Brian Farquhar entered the guilty pleas Monday. Under a plea bargain arraignment, he received 12 years in prison. Farquhar was alleged to have threatened a male and female victim in the course of stealing money in March.

Indictments against him also listed two convictions from 2004.

In May of this year, Farquhar pleaded guilty to three counts of assault causing bodily injury family violence and one count of obstruction retaliation. He was also given 12 years those charges.
