Rockwall – A suspect is sought in connection to a fatal hit-and-run accident in Rockwall County.
Law enforcement authorities were searching Thursday for the driver of a pickup truck who fled the scene of the Wednesday morning accident. It took place near the intersection of Sunny Circle and State Highway 276.
One person was killed and four others injured in the three-vehicle crash.
A Sheriff's Deputy said the driver of the Ford F-150 pickup was described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a light-colored cowboy hat.
The individual was believed to have caused the accident when his truck rammed into the back of vehicle driven by Kenton William Klutts.
Klutts, who is 49 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
