Greenville – A Dallas firefighter and Caddo Mills native will be honored Friday, days after falling to his death while battling a structure fire.
Lt. Todd Krodle was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School and earned a degree from East Texas State University.
A visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville. The funeral will be conducted at the church at 10 a.m. Friday, with burial to follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. A reception has also been scheduled following the burial at Greenville High School.
Authorities say Krodle, who'd been with the Dallas Fire Department since 1993, fell through the roof of an apartment while working to contain the fire Sunday. He was pronounced dead at a Dallas hospital.
