Final prison sentence given in 2009 drug sweep

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – 28-year-old Chadwick Daray Heath, of Greenville, was given more than 11 years behind bars for his role in a crack cocaine distribution ring across the region. He had previously pleaded guilty to the charge.

Heath is the last defendant from the raid by the Drug Enforcement Administration to be sentenced.

The DEA's investigation found that Greenville's Dream Lodge Motel was being used to conduct a criminal enterprise in the organized distribution of narcotics and prostitution. The Motel was closed and shuttered by law enforcement last November.
