Fireworks, parades, and fun

Brad Kellar reports on July 4th celebrations in the area, and there are also many celebrations this weekend across the area:

The Detroit Lion's Club is sponsoring the city's annual homecoming today and tomorrow, with a parade set for 10am tomorrow in downtown Detroit.

The Klondike Volunteer Fire Department and Klondike Church will sponsor a 4th of July Celebration beginning at noon Saturday, with fireworks after dark.

Honey Grove's Western Week peaks Saturday with a parade at 5pm.

The Point Volunteer Fire Department is holding their 14th Annual TamaleFest today through Sunday.

And Sulphur Springs will be holding their 15th Annual Independence Day Celebration in the downtown square Saturday. Activities begin at 7:45 tomorrow evening with music and marching followed by an aerial fireworks display.
