First-year coach Burton releases Lions WBB schedule

Texas A&M University-Commerce women's basketball coach Jason Burton has announced the 26-game slate which includes a match up against Division I Texas State on December 14.
 
The Lions open up the season with back-to-back games on the road. On, Saturday, November 15 A&M-Commerce opens up Lone Star Conference play traveling to Abilene, Texas to play McMurry University. On Monday, November 17 the Lions have a match at Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

 
A&M-Commerce has its home opener on Saturday, November 22 when Ouachita Baptist comes to town. Three of the Lions next four games will be on the road Tuesday, November 25 A&M-Commerce travels to Laredo, Texas to play Texas A&M International, followed by a game at Southern Arkansas on Saturday, November 29 in Magnolia, Arkansas. The Lions return home for one game, as A&M-Commerce welcomes Rodgers State to the Lions Fieldhouse on Saturday, December 6. The Lions then Travel to San Marcos, Texas for a game with Texas State on Sunday, December 14.
 
The Lions ring in the New Year with a back-to-back road LSC games at Angelo State on Thursday, January 1 and a trip to Wichita Falls, Texas against Midwestern.
 
A&M-Commerce will enjoy a four game home stint that comes in mid-January. The Lions welcome Angelo State on Sunday, January 11, Cameron on Wednesday, January 14. On Saturday, January 17 McMurry comes to town, and to the Lions close out the home stand against Eastern New Mexico University on Wednesday, January 21.
 
 A&M-Commerce will honor its seniors with the final home game on Wednesday, February 25 against Texas Woman's, while the season finale will come on the road at Tarleton State on Saturday, February 28.
