Cooper – Public input is sought from Delta County residents in separate meetings this month on local budget issues.
The Delta County Commissioners Court will be holding a 9 a.m. meeting on Friday during which a budget workshop will be held and then a proposed tax rate considered. Possible action on proposing a General Fund Tax Rate and a Road and Bridge Tax Rate will be on the agenda.
The City of Cooper will conduct a public hearing on Monday, Sept. 12th at 6 p.m. on the proposed budget for the use of City Funds for the Fiscal Year Beginning Oct. 1.
